The man behind Skinny Ships is Richard Perez. This guys has such a nice body of work. I really enjoy his use of color and experimental typography. He is currently in the process of updating his portfolio site, but in the meantime see his work here, here, and here.

Recently finished up this custom type piece for a great band. Everyone should give The Heyday a listen. Really happy with how this turned out.
